Save the Date! This Year's Smile Experience Set for August 6th!
Although there is still over a foot of snow on the race track surface, the calendar says it's officially Spring and time to start counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to our annual Smile Experience family respite day being held for kids impacted by cancer on August 6th from Noon till 4pm at the Oswego County Quarter Midget track in Fulton, NY!
The cars are being tuned-up, the safety gear is getting checked and our sponsorship team is out gathering sponsors so we can provide this AMAZING day for FREE for kids impacted by cancer here in Central NY! This year sponsors can "Adopt-a-Family" and provide a family a much needed break from cancer treatment to enjoy a fun-filled family experience together. We have limited sponsorship spots available so contact Mike, the Director of the Smile Experience, at 315-723-3261 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how you can "Adopt-a-Family"!
In the meantime, enjoy this awesome video put together by our wonderful sponsors, the Utica Comet's Save of the Day Foundation, from last year's Smile Experience!
Hospital Music Outreach Tour Hits the Road in April!
Our amazing staff of musicians, educators and therapists have been delivering live music and big smiles to the bedside of pediatric patients for more than 20 years. Whether performing for families at a children's hospital, singing with a child undergoing chemotherapy treatments in an Oncology Unit or providing a backyard concert for a child at home in hospice care...our KEYS crew is there improving their quality of life and delivering music, comfort, hope and smiles, when kids need it the most!
As always, we provide our Hospital Music Outreach at no cost to the families and sites we serve thanks to our amazing donors and volunteers.
Our Hospital Music Outreach crew members, Katie Quick and Ryan Chesla, will be hitting the road in April visiting children’s hospitals and sites for the KEYS Program while on Tour with their amazing Fingertips Program! They will be combining live music and motivational speaking, inspiring KEYS kids to find their passion and follow their dreams, while creating beautiful memorable moments kids will remember for years to come! (Check out this video about the awesome program they provide for schools that has been adapted for children's hospitals: Fingertips Video )

KEYS Kids Day at the Dome Creates BIG Smiles!
There were BIG smiles everywhere on January 22nd when the KEYS Program hosted its winter family respite day at the Dome! Our KEYS kids and their families had a great afternoon watching the Syracuse University Women's Basketball team win over Miami 81-46! After the game, they had a special autograph session and meet 'n greet with the team...and even hung out with Otto! Thank you to Natania and Cedric from Syracuse University and our Smile Crew member Donna Mucks, for helping to coordinate this event! A very special thanks to all of our wonderful donors who make these special family respite days...and BIG smiles... possible for our KEYS families all year! #itsallaboutthesmiles
Introducing our 2017 KEYS Kids Ambassador ~ Cameron!!
We are SO excited to officially announce our 2017 KEYS Kids Ambassador is Cameron from Kentucky! Cameron aka "Cam the Man" is a 6 year hepatoblastoma cancer survivor, organ donor recipient and true superhero! Along with raising awareness of the amazing superheroes battling cancer this year, it is Cam's family's hope that his story will help encourage others to consider signing up to be an organ donor too! We are SO thrilled for Cam to be the handsome face of our KEYS kids representing superheroes like him across the country this year! #CamtheManrocks#superhero#keyskidsambassador#organdonorrecipient#itsallaboutthesmiles#keysprogram
