All of us are facing a time of uncertainty as we all try our best to keep the Coronavirus (COVID-19) from spreading to our area and affecting our families and loved ones. Starting March 16th, we are changing up our program format so we can still deliver music, hope and smiles to our clients and KEYS families. To safely meet the needs of our staff, families we serve and others in the community, we are implementing the following changes to our programming...
1) KEYS Staff Working Remotely
Starting on Monday, March 16th, our staff will be working remotely and our office will not be open to the public. Our staff is still available by phone or email to assist you with anything you need. You may contact our staff at info@thekeysprogram.org or give us a call at 315-363-6446.
2) Music Therapy Services Transitioning to On-Line Music Therapy
Starting March 16th, we will be suspending our in-home and in-site music therapy sessions and transitioning to an on-line Music Therapy format for our clients and KEYS kiddos. We feel it is more important than ever to provide "normalcy" for our families and to still provide a creative, fun way to make music, especially during these isolating and difficult times.
This week, Adrienne and I will be putting together an on-line music therapy format that we will launch starting March 30th. (There will be no music therapy sessions from March 16 to March 27 while we work to implement this new format) We will be in touch with each of our existing music therapy clients in the coming week to share information, see if it is a good fit for you and share how it works as it pertains to your session. Once we have scheduled our existing students/clients, we expect to open the program up to additional families who would like to join in too!
3) Music Hub
In the meantime, swing on over to our Music Hub page on our website at https://www.keysprogram.org/keys-kids-network-1 to check out hours of music and videos the kids (and parents) will love! (We are updating the page regularly, so tune in often to check out the latest songs, fun and big smiles!)
After all...it's still ...all about the smiles!
